ABOUT THE AWARDS

For over 30 years, MEA has been recognising excellence in the events industry through its awards program. It is the only awards program that encompass the entire breadth of the Australian events sector. The Award categories in this year's program encompass the entire breadth of the events sector and have been designed to encourage and recognise exceptional achievements, creativity and outcomes for events held within Australia over a 24-month period. 

We can't wait to welcome State Finalists to Izakaya for a night of celebration as they eagerly await the results of their hard work and submissions.

ABOUT THE VENUE

Izakaya Publico offers a unique Japanese-inspired dining experience. Their experienced chefs display customary core cooking techniques throughout the carefully curated food menu. Grilling, steaming, frying, and cold dishes inspire the substantial zensai and share plate philosophy. Locally sourced seasonal produce offers guests the opportunity to explore the unique and flavoursome foods our region has to offer.
