What happens if I am a State Winner?
A: All State Winners will receive a certificate which will be presented to them on the night. State Winners will not have an opportunity to do an acceptance speech.
What happens if I can't attend in Melbourne?
A: The Awards Ceremony will be live-streamed and available to watch virtually for all those who cannot meet us in Melbourne. If you haven't already purchased your tickets, please visit: www.evolve2021.com.au/registration today.
How will I accept my Award if I am a National Winner?
A: If you are attending Melbourne, you will be able to accept your Award in-person and give a live acceptance speech. If you are joining us virtually, your pre-recorded acceptance speech will be played.
Am I required to give a live speech if I win a national award and I’m attending in Melbourne?
A: If you are a national winner and are able to accept your award in person, there is an opportunity to give a live acceptance speech. Please advise a member of the MEA team if you would prefer your pre-recorded acceptance speech to be played.
How many people are there per table at the Awards?
A: At this stage, the awards are tables of 10. However, we will adhere to the government restrictions depending on the square metre rules per person at the time.
In what format and specs must video files be submitted?
A: Please record your acceptance speech in a horizontal orientation in an MP4 format and no longer than 30 seconds.
How do I film my acceptance speech and upload it?
A: Film your acceptance speech on any device as long as it fits the format requirements, then upload it on the link provided in your 2020 Awards Ceremony Form as Full Name_Awards. If you need this link sent through again, please contact a MEA staff member.

Melbourne Attendee:
For those joining us in-person in Melbourne, the night will kick off with pre-dinner drinks from 6.15pm, with Awards live from 7pm. Includes a sit-down dinner for tables of 10*. *Social distancing rules at the time will apply.

For those joining us online, sit back, relax and click on the live-stream link that will be provided to you prior to the night.
