#HumansofMEA asked Philippa Tuaine, Events Manager at Pan Pacific Perth about her hidden talent, her current TV show of choice, and what strengths she brings to the events industry.
1. It is 5 pm on a Friday Philippa – what is in your glass?
“Hendricks Gin or a Pinot Noir – NZ, Central Otago is my go to.”
2. If you had a super power what would it be?
“Transportation – no more being stuck in traffic no need to fly, just snap my fingers (or click my heels) and I’m where I need to be.”
3. If you could work anywhere in the world Philippa, where would it be and why?
“Perth of Course! I would also like to work at home in New Zealand again at some point.”
4. How do you like your eggs Philippa?
“Poached always! And covered in an excessive amount of hollandaise sauce…..drooling.”
5. Philippa, name one thing that makes a great meeting stand out and why?
“When everything runs seamlessly – a team working as one.”
6. Philippa, what is a skill no one would know you had?
“Cat whisper & I played the saxophone. Potentially not well; but hey I still played it.”
7. Where is your favourite holiday destination and what activity did you spend most of the time doing?
“Italy! You can never go to Italy too many times. I love discovering new places every time I visit and it just gets better. Finding the best spots where locals frequent and indulging in endless pasta, cheese and red wine.”
8. Philippa, everyone wants to know what is the current TV series you are watching?
“I’m currently binging on Hand Maidens Tale (it’s a little dark but it is so good) as well as New Amsterdam. I just finished watching the Seaspiracy documentary and it blew my mind, everyone needs to watch it!”
9. Where would we find you on the weekend?
“Enjoying time with family and friends. Anything that gets me out of the house and out exploring the best Perth has to offer.”
