Will Organise is a small team with a highly sought after role that has become available. Our philosophy is that we can have a good time, whilst delivering outstanding results. The clients are medical and other associations who run annual conferences throughout Australia (and now internationally).  

The role is full time, available immediately.  Hours are primarily Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm however flexibility is required for evenings when meetings are scheduled. Interstate and potentially international travel will be required from time to time including weekend work and travel.

With 8 – 12 Conferences a year and managing various medical associations, there is never a dull moment at Will Organise.  The role will be a busy one, coordinating several events simultaneously.

The position will include any of the following duties: 

·        Creating the conference schedules and critical path plans.
·        Researching and recommending venues.
·        Business admin tasks; draft agendas and documentation, attend meetings, take minutes, follow up actions.
·        Ongoing maintenance and updates to websites.
·        Assistance in drafting documents, reports, correspondence.
·        Proof reading of documents.
·        Delegate, speaker, supplier, and sponsor liaison.
·        Banking, filing, mailing and credit card processing.
·        Updating and setting up files.
·        Managing marketing for events including social media accounts and EDMs.
·        On site coordination at conferences.
·        General office duties.|
·        Support the Manager and wider team with ad-hoc tasks.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

·        Have had 3+ years experience in events management.
·        Be knowledgeable with EventsAIR software.
·        Must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
·        Confident with IT and database management.
·        Ability to spell with good grammar.
·        Ability to take minutes of meetings in a timely manner.
·        Friendly, and good customer service.
·        Ability to work independently, multi-task and manage own deadlines as well as deadlines for others.
·        Flexibility to attend evening meetings and travel for events.
