As newly re-elected MEA Chair, I am honoured and humbled to continue serving our extraordinary community. Over the past year, I’ve seen firsthand the resilience, creativity, and determination that drive the Australian Events Industry forward. I’m excited to work with our fantastic Board and branch committees, our new CEO Mellisa Gillies, and the passionate MEA team to make 2025 a year of extraordinary milestones.

This year holds special significance as MEA celebrates its 50th Anniversary. It’s also a time to look ahead, embracing innovation, sustainability, and collaboration to ensure the continued success of our members and the broader events sector.

As Chair, my focus is on listening to you, our members, understanding your challenges, and working together to create opportunities that support your growth and success. Whether through education, networking, or advocacy, MEA is here to help you thrive.
